FAQ

1. Which mattress to choose: soft, medium hard or hard?

The choice of mattress hardness depends on several individual factors, so we recommend choosing a mattress in consultation with a consultant. But the main factor is body weight. A soft mattress is best for people weighing 60-70 kilograms, if the body weight is higher, a soft mattress can make a pit, there will not be enough spinal support, so the muscles will not relax during sleep.

Medium hardness mattresses are adapted for medium height people weighing 70-90 kilograms. A solid mattress will be suitable for people of larger build. A hard mattress guarantees sufficient support for the spine and relaxes the muscles during sleep. For small people, a solid mattress is not suitable (unless prescribed by a specialist) because during sleep the mattress does not adapt to body shapes and it feels as if you are sleeping on a board.

2.How to choose a mattress?

We recommend choosing a mattress that best fits your body shape. Pay attention to your height and weight. It is important what materials the mattresses are made. Also important – mattress has anatomical zones or not. When visiting mattress stores, we advise you to try the mattress you like – the experience of lying down can help you decide which mattress is best for you.

3.When an old mattress needs to be replaced with a new one?

It is recommended to change the mattress every five to seven years. Even a well-maintained mattress accumulates dust during this period and loses its good properties.

4.Why is it best to put a mattress on the grill?

The bed grille allows for a better distribution of body weight, the mattress becomes more comfortable and can be used for longer. The grille provides better ventilation of the mattress, which is very important. When choosing a bed with a grill, pay attention to the number of grilles – the heavier the mattress, the more grilles are needed.

5. Do I need to flip the mattress?

Yes. It is recommended to turn the mattress several times a year (the most concave areas will return to the starting position), and it is recommended to turn double-sided mattresses 2-3 times a year. Usually one side of the mattress is softer and the other is harder. Lying on the sides of a mattress of different hardness can also help solve the causes of minor back pain.

6. What is an orthopedic mattress?

“Ortho” translated from Greek means “appropriate”. The design of the orthopedic mattress is designed to relax the muscles during sleep and guarantee maximum rest. Sleep improves blood circulation, maintains the correct position of the spine, activates metabolism, so sleep becomes even better.

7. How to properly care for the mattress? Proper care of the mattress can ensure the longevity of the product, so it is worth following a few rules:

  • The dimensions of the bed must correspond to the length and width of the mattress.
  • Mattress should be placed on the bed with a grill to ensure sufficient air permeability;
  • Flip the mattress several times a year, if it is double-sided, turn the mattress 2-3 times a year;
  • Very important is the hygiene of the mattress. Wash the mattress cover, the base can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

8. Which mattress filler to choose?

The choice of mattress filler depends on your needs. Standard profiled foam foam ensures good air circulation and easier removal of moisture. The polyurethane foam mattress provides sufficient softness and warmth during sleep. High elasticity polyurethane foam (HR) has excellent elasticity, air permeability and durability. Maximum comfort is ensured during sleep. Viscoelastic polyurethane foam responds to human heat, so the mattress adapts perfectly to body shapes. Latex-containing mattresses are hygienic, have anti-allergic properties, guarantee sufficient softness, elasticity and comfort. Coconut fiber filler is eco-friendly, durable and evaporates moisture well. The thickness of the coconut fiber affects the hardness of the mattress – the bigger it is, the harder the mattress.

9. Is the mattress cover removable?

Yes, it is possible because there is a zipper sewn around the mattress cover. The mattress cover can be washed in the washing machine according to the washing instructions provided by the manufacturer.

10. Do you give the mattress a trial period?

We do not provide this service. After giving the mattress a trial period and then returning it to the buyer, we can no longer ensure that the mattress meets our hygiene and safety requirements. During the test period, the mattress could be soiled, used outside the grid base, resulting in uneven or otherwise damaged. The mattress is a personal and intimate product, as dead human skin cells, dandruff, dust and other dirt settle on it during sleep. We only sell mattresses that are new, safe and packaged in sterile packaging. If you are not sure whether the chosen mattress will be comfortable for you, we recommend that you try it in the furniture salons of our partners.

12.Do you produce mattresses and mattresses of non-standard dimensions?

Yes, we do. The price of mattresses and mattresses up to 2 m long is calculated as a standard product, for example, if you order a mattress with a length of 1.83 m, the price will be calculated as 2 m long. The width of the products counts in a larger direction, for example, the price of a 1.50 × 2 m mattress will count as 1.6 × 2 m. The price for mattresses over 2 m long or wide is 1 cm – 3 Eur, for mattresses 1 cm – 1.5 Eur.

13. Is it possible to choose a mattress cover fabric?

Yes. The fabric of the mattress cover can be chosen from knitted white, with bamboo, brown, linen or impregnated with Aloe Vera extract. For those who do not want standard knitted white fabric, mattresses with a width of 80, 90 or 100 cm need to add 10 Eur, and with a width of 120, 140, 160, 180 or 200 – 15 Eur (except for the OPERA mattress).

14. What if the mattress cover is worn and the mattress core is still of good quality?

If your mattress cover is already worn, dirty or you want to renew it for hygienic reasons and do not spend a large amount of money, we recommend ordering a new, air-permeable and gentle skin cover. All you have to do is go to the “Mattress covers” section, mark the length, width, height of your mattress and choose the desired cover fabric. The cover is extremely easy to maintain: it is closed with a zipper and can be washed at temperatures up to 40°C.1.
